Hi there! Thought I would drop by with a quick post to share my latest layout & process video with you. I recently was able to take a class from the AMAZING Amy Tangerine!! It had been a while since I took a class & boy am I glad I chose this one! 🙂 I had the best time ever and can’t wait till she teaches another class.

This was such a fun challenge. Can’t decided which I love more..the big “Sparkle” word from Pebbles & Jen Hadfield, or Maggie Holmes, Bloom ephemera?? They are both to die for! Hello there and welcome back. Today I wanted to share my layout using the May inspiration board over at Paper Issues. I love, love, love COFFEE so this was a fantastic jumping off point for me! It’s one of those things you may forget to scrap about…but yet you enjoy it daily or almost everyday. Here is a look at the May mood board:

I used distress ink and a glass to make the coffee ring stains. I was super happy with how it turned out. I really enjoyed creating this page and I’m definitely glad I did! It’s good to have the everyday things in your scrapbooks. Here’s a close up of my journaling.

I am joining in on the FUN with the Take 5 Tuesday challenge over at the Paper Issues Friends & Fans Facebook group today. Here are the five I chose to use: String, Chipboard, Bow, Circle & Title. I decided to use some of the new Illustrated Faith, She Blooms line and scrap photos from Easter Sunday…love all the bright colors! Here are a few close ups of my completed layout:
I love the chipboard and enamel hearts that come with this line. I also mixed in a little of the Simple Stories, Life in Color.
I created a homemade heart embellishment using a metal die, fringe scissors and various scraps of paper. Love how it turned out!
This was such an incredible day spent with family and friends…I’m so glad I already have it documented and in my scrapbook!
