Meet The Sparklers!

I am beyond excited to announce that I have made the Spiegelmom Scraps Sparklers Design Team!  Whoo Hoo!!  I just love all of their products and feel truly blessed to work with these amazingly talented ladies.  I cannot wait to see all of their beautiful creations.  Make sure you check out their blogs today for lots & lots of inspiration!

I am addicted to the Spiegelmom Scraps sequins & cork embellishments.  They are simply gorgeous.  Here are a just a few of the products I received lately:

I thought I would share one of my favorite layouts of my son & his girlfriend with you today.  She doesn’t scrapbook but loves to take lots of photos…so I’m ecstatic over that!  I fell in love with these pictures & couldn’t wait to scrap them.

I also used some Shimmerz product that I received from the SMS shop.  I love the texture and dimension it gives to the layout; not to mention the beautiful color selection they have, as well.

I knew I wanted to also use some of the Oasis line by Crate Paper (not sold in the shop).  Angel loves purple so I thought it would reflect her personality & compliment the photos.  They both LOVED it & said they wanted it…so it is now framed in a shadow box and on its way to their house. 🙂

Feeling the #BROMANCE

Hi there my friends..it’s been a while since I’ve blogged here on my personal site (been busy with Clique Kits projects & blog posts).  Thought I’d stop by today, to share my most recent 12×12 layout with you guys.

I recently got the March Clique Kit, named “PLAY” & just couldn’t wait to start creating with it!  I had this photo of my son & his best friend sitting on my desk, that I’d been wanting to scrap..so I went for it.  I think I literally squealed when I was done, I was sooo happy with the results!! 🙂

Here’s a few close-ups of my page:

I used a combination of Shimelle’s new line, Little By Little (featured in this month’s kit) & a few things from Amy Tangerine’s, On A Whim line.  They go so perfectly together & are just stinkin’ ADORABLE!  I decided to pull out one of my old Amy Tangerine stitch templates & do some hand-stitching on my page.  I really love the look & texture it gives to your layouts.

I thought it would be cool to just add random strips of the paper along the side as a design element.  I curled & roughed the edges with my fingers, so it would have a little dimension & texture, without needing to add pop dots.  And I couldn’t stop there, I just had to add a few of the cute resin stars that came in the kit, as well.

I used a cute journaling spot from the ephemera pack that came in the kit, to get a few of my thoughts on the layout..their friendship just warms my heart to pieces.  I am so grateful for the kind of influence he has had on my son’s life; well actually on mine too! 🙂

Sweet Friend

Hello there & welcome back!  I’m so glad you are joining us on our member blog share for the 2016 October Clique Kit, Sapphire.  I just love what all of these talented ladies have come up with using this kit.  It’s amazing all the different styles we all have, but are so exceptionally gorgeous in their own way.

This layout is to document a special day I had recently with my friend Holly, whom I’ve known most of my life.  I wanted to make sure I put the story and photos in my scrapbook while it was still fresh in my memory.  I don’t know about you, but I tend to like the pages I scrap right after the event has occurred, as apposed to waiting several years, and then trying to remember my feelings of the day.

I know I have said this before, but I really do love this kit!  The colors are just beautiful and the Kit is jammed packed with so many wonderful goodies.  I find it makes it so easy to complete gorgeous layouts with very little effort because the kits are so well put together.

I really didn’t have a plan when I started this layout except that I knew I wanted to use the soft pink floral paper from Pink Fresh Studio as my background & some of the exclusive cards that come in the kit.  Of course, I had to add some of the Indigo Hills ephemera & wooden clips to my project to make it complete.  I simply love how it turned out!

You’re Fantastic

Hello & welcome to the Clique Kits blog share of our 2016-2017 new design team.  I am beyond thrilled to be part of such an incredible group of creators!!  I feel so blessed because I’ve admired so many of them for years…still have to pinch myself to believe my work is being featured along with theirs!

Today I am working with the Fabulous, Here Comes The Sun line, by Pretty Little Studio.  Isn’t it just dreamy?!

 

I just love working with this line so much..its so soft & airy, with pops of bright colors.  The 8×8 papers were perfect for making lots of layers behind my photos.  I really like the look of the acrylic pieces from the line..such an adorable embellishment to add to any layout or card.  I also decided to get out my Cuttlebug & do some die-cutting.  I finished it off by adding some sequins from my stash & a couple of the rubber charms from Cute Girl, Crate Paper.

Love To Skate!

Hey there, I’m back to share my most recent layout of me rollerskating with my oldest son, Anthony!!  It just happened to work out perfectly with the Paper Issues mood-board for the month of August…here’s a look at it:

I pretty much grew up going to the roller-skating rink.  I LOVED it immediately & wanted to go as much as humanly possible!! 🙂

I had traditional white skates most of my life…it wasn’t ’till I was much older that my boys, Anthony & Dominic, convinced me to get black!  My oldest took this photo of me the last time we went skating together in Ventura County. 🙂

I cannot even express how happy it makes me feel that he loves to skate, almost as much as ME!!!  Here are a few more close-ups, along with my journaling:

I decided to do a layout featuring America the Beautiful, by Pebbles.  Here are a few close-ups:

My friend Jenn was visiting me & we decided to go to the fair for the Fourth.  It was such a perfect day.  We ate everything in sight, watched monster trucks, saw tons of animals & exhibits.  But I’d have to say, the icing on the cake, was the amazing fireworks at the end of the night!  Absolutely Amazing!!

This line is so stinkin’ CUTE..I fell in love with it the second I saw it!  My page just flew together so easily.  You can never go wrong with Pebbles..they have the cutest lines ever & think of everything!

Aren’t these Thickers the BEST!??!  I decided to flip a couple of them upside down to add interest to the page. 🙂  To finish the layout, I added a few sprinkles of Heidi Swapp Color Shine & some bling.  Here’s a look at my completed layout:

JULY (P)INSPIRATION

Hi Y’All..back again to share my latest layout with you!  I was so inspired by the Paper Issues Mood Board this month.  Isn’t it just GORGEOUS!?!

I used a lot of Happy Glamper, by Photo Play.  Sandra found this little GEM hidden along the coast, after Laguna Beach, before reaching Anaheim (Yes, we were on our way to the Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland!).  It is called Crystal Cove State Park & is absolutely breathtaking!!

My niece, Wisdom, helped me come up with the title.  Of course, its from a recent pop song, and was just so genius…no wonder why they named her Wisdom! 🙂

I had a blast painting the wood veneer with my Dylusions Paint by Ranger.  Dyan Reaveley “knocked it out of the park” with this product..absolutely LOVE it!!

I decided to make a pocket behind my layout for some hidden journaling.  I attached a Tye-died seam binding ribbon, so you can easily pull it out & read it!

I think this may be one of my favorite layouts I’ve done in a long time…just love everything about it!!  Here’s my completed page-hope you like it as much as I do?!

Hooray for Popsicles

Hi guys, I’m back, playing along with another Paper Issues Take 5 Challenge!!  I love doing the monthly challenges..they’re so fun & really keep me inspired from week to week.  This time, I decided to scrap a few photos of my nephew Tanner, enjoying one of his Summer favorites..POPSICLES!!! 🙂

These are the 5 I chose: The color blue; alpha letters; patterned paper; a star; and stripes.  Here’s a few more close-ups…

I had recently bought some of the new Elle’s Studio, Sunny Days collection, so of course I couldn’t wait to dive into it for this layout.  I used some of the 3×4 cards for layering…I’m super happy with the way it turned out!

I fell in love with the wood veneer.  I mean, I just couldn’t resit, that adorable Popsicle –  it was absolutely perfect for this page!  Here’s a look at my completed layout:

Hello Sunshine!
