Hi there & welcome back. Today I’m playing along with Paper Issues Friends & Fans on Facebook. The challenge is called Let’s Get Knot-ical…you can check out the PI Blog for more details on this FUN challenge. I chose to create a layout about my whale watching experience last month. It may have not been everything we’d hoped for, but we had a blast anyways! Here is a few close-ups:
I used a combination of three different lines…Sunny, by Imaginisce; Beach Day, by Carta Bella; & Summer Sun, by Fancy Pants…Isn’t the whale paper so dang CUTE!? Oh, I almost forgot to mention, the adorable 3-D whale, by Doodlebug! 🙂
We had such a great time, even though we didn’t see much of the whale! LOL! As u can read here…
This was such a fun layout to create. I just love all of these lines so much & they really compliment each other! 🙂

Sometimes in life we get an unexpected curve ball!! That’s not necessarily bad news though! Well, this is all about my dear friend..sister for ever..and her true love that came from, well as you say, out of the blue!!!
Here’s a look at my layout I made to commemorate them. I used the new Carta Bella, Beach Day line:
I thought this line was perfect for the photo because they were on a day date at the beach! They rented bicycles and cruised along the beautiful coast of Pacific Beach in San Diego. Oh…I forgot to tell you..it was November!! Sorry guys, don’t be jealous, but that’s how we do it in Cali!! 🙂
I did follow a sketch for this layout…you can find it here. I love the look of the navy thread, its the small details that really make a page for me. Here’s a look at my completed layout:
